木版教育信托木版奖

China invented woodblock printmaking. In recognition of this fact and to encourage Chinese students to study and practice woodblock printmaking, the Trust has decided to create an annual Woodblock Printmaking Awards.

中国是木版画的发源地，为了纪念这一发明以及鼓励中国学生创作木版画，木版教育信托拟设立年度木版奖。奖金用于奖励最能创造性与革新性地运用木刻版画的中国学生。

In order to discover new talents  and to showcase the most recent development and achievement in woodblock printmaking field in China, the candidates of MET’s Awards are restricted to  young artists who are under 35 years old.

这个版画奖的主要目的是要发现木刻版画界的新才华，展示其最新的发展和成果，所以，参赛者的资格被局限在三十五岁以下的年轻艺术家们。
