个人简介
Born in 1958. Attended Art college in London gaining a degree in Fine Art (Sculpture). Trained as a stone mason. Began wood engraving in 1983. A member of the Society of Wood Engravers since 1985 and chairman from 2011 to 2014. Member of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers. Prints held in the collections of the V&A Museum, the Ashmolean Museum and the Morgan Library, New York.

Most of my wood engravings are illustrations for books. I have illustrated a number of books for The Folio Society including classics such as ‘The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn’ by Mark Twain, ‘Frankenstein’ by Mary Shelley, ‘Brideshead Revisited’ by Evelyn Waugh and I am currently working on wood engravings for a collection of short stories by Fyodor Dostoevsky. I have worked as a designer for The Royal Mint and work as a letter cutter and maker of headstones and memorials.
